I love the Waltham Cross hub, it’s a welcoming place for people to come. There is free tea and coffee, and someone is always available to help with any issues and problems that need addressing, e.g - rent or council tax problems etc. I've been running the Knit and Crochet group for about two years now in which Sarah has provided us with wool, knitting needles and crochet hooks. As a group, we learn from each other and it is a very friendly group. All free and everyone is welcome to attend the group.

I would say for anyone who is looking for help and support, come to the Healthy Hub. Don’t be afraid to speak up. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, you’ve got a safe space here. They will do everything they can to help you and if they don’t have all the answers, they’ll find someone else who will have the answers.

Shaw Trust really enjoy working from the Community Hub as it is at the heart of the community and has so many resources available! We work very closely with the Hub staff and have an excellent working relationship; all love their time working in the hubs at both Waltham Cross and Hertford. The Hub has so many events that take place which is very useful for our participants and the office space is always clean and tidy!
